Rikash is quite a friendly guy, he's not afraid to go and talk to others even if he doesn't know them. He's a good artist, and often spends a lot of his time just sitting and drawing what he sees. He enjoys drawing Pokemon a lot, but he prefers to sketch scenery and things like that to. Like his starter Pokemon, Smeargle, he also sketches the moves that Pokemon use during battles, but unlike his pokemon he doesn't gain the ability to use the moves afterwards. Rikash often feels the need to burst into song, although he keeps it to himself when he's around other people, mainly because he doesn't have a very good singing voice. He loves all sorts of curries and other Indian cuisine, as well as pizzas.
Appearance:
Rikash is tall for his age, with striking dark hair that sticks up in such away that it always looks as if he hasn't brushed or combed it. Of course, Rikash takes a lot of pride in his looks and he takes care to always brush his hair, even if it doesn't made a difference. His eyes are a red-ish brown sort of colour, and are slightly too large for the rest of his face, giving him an appearance as if he is always staring. He'll take every opportunity to wear a suit and tie, but when formality isn't needed he'll instead go with a black shirt and neat trousers as well as a long purple cape, which might even make him look something like a magician. Rikash used to wear a top hat, but it looked silly, so he's taken to carrying a nice italian mafia style bowler hat around with him, although he doesn't often wear it and it's mostly for jokes. Although he has glasses, he has never worn them and instead merely carries them around with him just in case it's really necessary.
History:
Born in the City of Boron, the son of a well off shopkeeper, Rikash's early life was, well, Comfortable. He went to school like any other child, but he wasn't as interested in catching Pokemon as his friends were, so when the day came that he was finally old enough to get a Pokemon of his own, he wasn't even too bothered. No, Rikash preferred to stay at home drawing, and as far as he knew there wasn't any Pokemon who liked art, was there?
Of course, as most dedicated Pokemon trainers knew, there was. Unfortunately for Rikash, it took him quite a while to realize this, and in fact it wasn't until his fourteenth birthday that he saw that there was a Painter Pokemon, one called Smeargle to be exact. After a lot of saving, Rikash managed to save up enough money to buy a Smeargle. It was a shady deal, and the transaction wasn't exactly 'Legal' as the police might have put it, but nevertheless it was what Rikash wanted and so his father allowed it. With his new Pokemon at hand, Rikash began to take an interest in other pokemon to, specifically ones with interesting abilities. Rikash knew that while Drawing was important, a Single Smeargle wouldn't help his much, and he decided that he'd travel all over and sketch moves from as many different Pokemon as he could.
