Personality: Darian is a very kind and warm person. He is the type of person where even if you say nothing is wrong with you, if you put off the slightest vibe of you being sad he won’t stop bugging you until you tell him what’s wrong. He holds his friends very close to him and does everything in his power too make sure all of his friendships stay close. The only time he will ever show dismay or anger is when something very special too him has been threatened or harmed. He is a good natured Pokémon trainer who isn’t all about “making his Pokémon stronger” or “being the very best” he just prefers to go with the flow.
Appearance:
Darian has a very soft complexion compared to any other teenage boy. His light brown hair left uncut touches his shoulders barely. He has dark brown eyes but when directed towards sunlight they become a very bright caramel colour.
History: Darian has always been a city boy. His mom and dad had been born, lived, met and married in Boron City. Two years into their marriage they had their first and only son, Darian. He was a rather big child and always seemed to be getting himself into trouble as a baby.
As he grew older his personality never changed. At the age of six he was already going out and about in the city, adventuring without his parents to places unknown. This is when he found his love for Pokémon and met the Pokémon that would become his favourite species and become his best friend.
During one of his many adventures he ended up a short distance outside of the city in a small clearing of trees. Sitting in the center of the clearing was an Abra, its permanently closed eyes staring absently at a tree and its body slowly moving up and down.
Darian, being at the young age of six had done the childish thing to do. He ran into the clearing playfully and obnoxiously tried to hug the Pokémon. Before his arms could clasp around the body of the Abra it teleported, causing Darian to skid too the ground. The Abra soon teleported on top of him and sat there.
Darian spun around and managed to roll on top of the Abra. Surprised, the Abra smiled and started laughing. Darian stood up followed by the Abra and they both stared at each other for a few minutes. Finally it teleported. Instead of leaving though the Abra actually appeared on Darian’s head. Teleporting again, it brought him all the way back home and inside his house, scaring the pants off of Darian’s mom and dad.
Thankfully his parents let him keep the Abra as a part of the family and thanks to his dad’s webcomic knowledge they named it Ace.
As Darian aged Abra stayed his closest friend. They went through everything together, including Darian’s mom’s horrible spinach casserole. Despite Darian being able to go out on a Pokémon adventure six years ago he decided not too as he felt that it would distance himself from his family. Finally at the age of sixteen his mom and dad knew that the adventure would be good for Darian and Ace and basically kicked them out of the house.
Their parting words were “Don’t forget to shower everyday!” “Don’t come back with any less than 8 gym badges!” and “Don’t forget about us.” With those words Darian smiled as Ace sat on his shoulder. He placed his hand on his heart and waved too his parents as he set off to begin his journey.
