(ooc: I'm typing this to make a backstory plot for my character. Feel free to read, but this contains Child Abuse, a touchy subject for some people.)
"Tadaima... Aki home, Daddy." Akika said softly as she entered the dark house. She sighed; it has been a year since she last came into this gloomy place. Unpleasent memories flooded her mind as she took off her shoes and stepped into the wooden hallway. Sparkle was beside her, his eyes wide and brows furrowed. It was his first time in his trainer's house, and so far, he did not like it.
Noticing her pokemon's frown and worried look, Akika smiled softly and let out a small giggle. "It's okay," she coaxed, kneeling down to look at Sparkle in the eyes, "It's usually dark here. Daddy doesn't like the light."
Sparkle kept the frown on his face as Akika stood back up and began to make her way towards her own room. It was the nearest from the front door, and the doorknob had dust all over it. Akika simply patted her now dusty hand on her skirt and let out a small sigh, then opened the door.
Inside was a small bed, a dresser, a small toy box with barely anything inside, and a small alarm clock on the dresser. Nothing else was in the room, making Sparkle feel uncomfortable as he walked into the room. Akika closed the door behind herself and lowered her backpack. She took out a few pokeballs and layed them on the floor, and under Sparkle's worried watch on the door, changed her clothing quickly, in hopes to at least look a little better. Her old clothes were tight... And these were no different. But at least the newer ones she had on were dresses, so it didn't seem to look too small on her.
"Pii~chu?" Sparkle squeaked as he climbed onto Akika's bed and slumped down onto his bottom. Akika giggled yet again, telling him, "Chu stay here. Aki have to go say hi to Daddy. He must miss Aki."
Sparkle nodded slightly as Akika walked out the room and closed the door behind herself. She then speed-walked to the living room, where she found her father on the couch. Smell of alcohol filled the room, and the area was all covered in thick smoke, that the girl struggled slightly to breathe, but she said nothing to complain. Instead, she just moved to the window and opened it as she said again, in hopes to catch her father's attention, "Aki home, Daddy."
"Akika...?" The man asked slowly. Akika smiled, happy to hear her father at least hearing her. She made her way to sit in front of her father, who lazily sat up from the couch and put out his cigarette. "Ahh... Akika."
Akika nodded, the smile still on her face. "Aki sorry Aki be gone for long time..."
"..." The man said nothing in return, putting on a confused feature on his face, immediately indicating to Akika that he honestly did not notice her disappearance to begin with. A frown almost tugged onto the child's lips at the thought, but she managed to keep the now-fake smile on her face.
"Aki made friends." She said, hoping to at least hold a conversation with her father. The man simply stared at her, a grin slowly sweeping his confused look off his ugly face. The child almost could jump in joy, her father was listen--
No. He wasn't. He was far from listening. Akika watched as he took his beer bottle into his hand and gulped down the substance inside. The smell reeked, but Akika held her ground, her mouth slowly opening in hopes to not have to breathe in the scent with her nose. That was when it happened.
Akika blacked out for a moment, and noticed herself fallen on the floor. Her cheek stung, and her abdormen throbbed with pain. The child woke up and coughed, noticing her father no longer sitting on the couch but standing up, merely chuckling. The child pushed herself up on all fours and let out another cough, only to feel a hard something hit her in her stomach again. The little girl fell onto the ground again and finally caught onto what was happening.
Her daddy was hitting her.
Fear clouding her vision, the child couldn't even scream. Only gasps and whimpers escaped past her lips as she struggled back onto her feet as fast as she could. Her father reached down to grab her, but she managed to slip out of his reach by running off into her own room, shutting the door, and sitting in front of it to block him from coming inside.
Sparkle gasped as he saw his trainer run into the room and slam the door shut in fear. She sat down in front of it, and Sparkle could hear the man yelling and taunting her that she had to come out sooner or later. Afraid that the man might bust the door open, Sparkle quickly turned to the pokeballs on the floor and tapped each and every one of them, releasing the whole team. They all pushed their weights against the door as Akika curled up into a tight ball by pulling her knees to her chest and pushing her face into them. The yelling of the man stopped soon enough, but it wasn't long until they heard something else.
"Fine then... If you aren't going to come out... Don't come out at all!" The man laughed outside the door as machinery was heard. Sparkle blinked as Curly pressed herself against Akika now, licking the little girl's cheek in hopes to make her stop crying. Chii offered her tail to let Akika snuggle to it and use it as a comforting item. When the machinery sound stopped, so did the man's taunts. The team heard him walk away, and Teddy reached up for the doorknob and turned it.
As he managed to do so however and pulled onto the door, he blinked, realizing the door not opening. The team was locked inside the room. Noticing this, Akika's eyes widened and she began to tremble terribly. She moved herself to the bed and curled up under the blankets, sobbing in fear.
Sparkle and Curly jumped onto the bed and snuggled to their trainer, trying to calm her. Chii and Teddy continued messing with the door, trying to open it. Bubbles sat in the middle of the room, tears in her eyes, as Momo padded around the room as if to find any openings so they could get out.
The door didn't open for the rest of the night...
