(ooc: This is a continuation of another thread posted Here. Contains Child Abuse, so not for sensitive people xD; ) A young child coughed violently under a park's bench. There laid a small girl, all bruised and battered up, with a small, exhausted Pichu beside her. The child's cheeks were rosey pink, and her eyes were half open, but she could still see enough to determine if people were in front of her or not. And luckily, at the moment, there was no one.
The Pichu woke up and yawned, and after stretching himself, looked to his trainer worriedly. They had been through a lot, and now his trainer seemed sick. God, did he feel useless... He only snuggled up to her, nuzzling her cheek with his own, hoping to warm her up. They were both wet from the rain the night before, and this day was not the warmest day either. Sparkle shivered and shook his body as the wind blew past him, making water droplets sprinkle all around him. "Pii~chu..." He whimpered, looking out and back at his trainer, debating on what to do.

Aki was right, at the moment no one was out in front of the bench but behind it someone was rapidly approaching with a serious look in his eyes and a stern tone to his voice.
"Bachuru, give it back!" The tiny yellow mite bounced further away from its trainer, not about to give up its prize for anything.
"I'm serious, give it here!" Zeke edged closer, slowly so as not to spook the little troublemaker. Bachuru knew it was faster than Zeke and just to rub it his trainer's face it turned around to reveal the cookie it had stolen just moments ago. By all rights it was Zeke's he had gotten one for everybody in the party but having scarfed his down in seconds Bachuru thought it would be much more fun to get himself an extra. Zeke was finally within range, Bachuru was waving the cookie as a taunt and wasn't paying attention, the time to strike was now! At least it would have been, if Zeke hadn't been standing in one of Bachuru's Spider Webs at the time of his lunge so instead of catching the naughty spider in his arms he was hugging the ground. Delighted Bachuru giggled and hopped back a bit while Zeke muttered to himself, his face still partly embedded in the ground "Mibbuh Derp..." (Little Jerk....)
~"Chat...."~ groaned the parrot pokemon as it fluttered over to a nearby bench, they'd been doing this for 20 minutes straight now and as funny as it had been to watch at first now the joke was starting to get old...really old. The monotony was quickly broken when the parrot heard a coughing noise, it sounded like it was coming from below him. Anxious for something, anything, else to do Chatot hoped lower on the bench, gripping the outermost edge in his talons he swung himself around to hang upside down and peer underneath. The first thing his eyes went to was the bright yellow Pichu cuddled into what looked like a pile of clothes possibly its nest or something along those lines.
A closer look revealed that it was not a pile of anything, it was a little girl. Chatot's eyes widened in horror, body was covered in bruises and he couldn't tell if she was breathing or not. Flustered beyond all reckoning Chatot tried to take flight but in his haste he let go and fell had into the dirt not unlike how Zeke had moments ago. Not the least bit phased however Chatot sprung up into the air and sounded the alarm as loud as he possibly could.
~"CHATOT! CHAT! CHATOT!!!!""~
"Huh?"
~"Chu?"~
Zeke and Bachuru heard Chatot's shouting immediately, both knew Chatot wasn't one to panic like usually; something was very wrong. Their quarrel was abandoned and both trainer and pokemon dashed to the park bench Chatot was circling over. When they got closer Chatot landed and directed them to look underneath. From far back Zeke had noticed that there was something down there and figured whatever was under there had something to do with this. What he saw was far worse than he could have imagined; for a moment Zeke was too horrified to say anything, "Good lord, what happened here?"
Bachuru shivered at the sight and stepped back slightly, Chatot sulked a bit, Zeke wanted to reach right in and get her out but paused when he saw the Pichu, spooking it into attacking could put her in danger. He'd have to get it to co-operate if he was going to be of any help. "It's ok little dude, we're here to help."

Castor tumbled off the ship and slid into town with an unusually cheerful aura twined about him. His mother had summoned him home two weeks before and to say that he was relived to no longer be there would borderline blasphemy.
Then, making his way swiftly through the vast metal towers of the great steel city, Castor found himself gazing at a familiar pillar. However, this obelisk was not man made of stone or steel, but a marvel of nature. Seamlessly positioned at the center of Boron’s largest park, this tree soared over all others and its branches’ radius stretched for tens of feet.
Several cast iron benches were placed around the tree’s base, but the cool weather left all but one unoccupied. A blonde dressed as a … a pirate, circled the nearest seat, and Castor watched as a distressed scowl appeared, carving a deep rut into his facial expression, before noting the small bundle tucked beneath the robust platform. What’s that…? The pirate’s Chatot flew hastily about the area before landing to investigate the damp form with his owner. Wide-eyed Castor watched as the blonde boy begun to reach forward and froze. Instinctively he jolted forward as the dark realization hit him that the broken lump of cloth could contain an injured Pokémon or worse.

The Chatot’s voice immediately caught the Pichu’s attention. Sparkle looked up and out the bench to see the chattering bird, and he quickly got on all fours, sparks escaping his cheeks. There was no way they were going to be found by that man again because of a stupid bird… His eyes narrowed, the electric baby pokemon was about to release the electricity and shock the bird away from them. However, when he heard more voices, he held his ground and electricity to himself.
Slowly Sparkle exhaled a breath and watched the group. That came forth and around the bench. A human boy… And an electric spider. His ears perked up fully as he saw the man reaching in towards him and his trainer. Sparkle squeaked, hoping to scare him away, as he himself trembled, afraid of him maybe bringing him and his trainer back into that hell-house. Despite the boy’s words, the Pichu held his ground, kept on all fours, and allowed a few speckles of electricity be leaked from his pink cheeks.
”Pii~…” He warned, pushing himself closer to his trainer and obviously showing signs of aggression as a result of fear and determination to protect his trainer. Akika’s eyes slowly opened as she heard her pokemon, and looked up to see the man, as well as his two pokemon as well. Too exhausted to move, she just stared silently at them, her golden-brown eyes black of emotion. Who were they…? Were they friends or enemies…?

“Whoa now, easy does it.” Zeke withdrew his had when the tiny rodent started emitting sparks. Though he himself wasn’t too worried about getting shocked, heck Bachuru shocked him all the time just to fool around, but it was common knowledge that since Pichu were only babies as far as Pokemon went they sometimes had difficulty controlling their electricity and one stray bolt could spell disaster for the poor girl.
~Chuuu~
Zeke could hear Bachuru growl and let out a few sparks of his own sensing the Pichu’s aggression as electric Pokemon do and none too amused at the Pichu’s rudeness when they were just trying to help. Zeke understood the Pichu’s hesitation and plopped a hand down on Bachuru to calm him down with a stern, “Chill.”
Bachuru did indeed ‘chill’ but the problem was far from solved, somehow he had to earn the Pichu’s trust or at least get him out of the way. Zeke knew that it was only trying to protect her despite being a small fry and he really admired the little guy’s fortitude but the girls health came first and all three of them would do whatever had to be done. Even so Zeke desperately wanted to take the peaceful route, if the Pichu wouldn’t listen to a human stranger maybe another Pokemon would be able to do sort this out.
“Hey Chatot, can you try and talk some sense into his little guy?” Chatot thought a moment and stepped forward, an electric type had little reason to fear a flying type so hopefully it wouldn’t feel too threatened.
~Chatot Cha-Cha Chatot. Chat Chatot Chat Cha, Chatot-tot Chatot Chatot.~
Zeke had no idea what exactly his partner was saying but he sure sounded like he knew what he was doing.

Castor froze several paces behind the blond pirate and despite the distance the scene beneath the seat was painfully visible. He cringed at the sight of the wounded child. His stomach tightened into knots as he continued to stare forward. A bitter pang knocked the breath from his lungs as he suddenly missed his home. Unable to compose himself, Castor wouldn't be much help, but nothing he did could remove the ill feeling burrowing deep into his being...

With his ears perked up fully, Sparkle listened to the Chatot, his tiny body still quivering. The child just stared silently to the older male and then to her Pichu, then back to the male. Her breathing was shallow, but she could see the man and could only imagine of him bringing her back to her father’s. The thought made a shiver run up and then down her spine, but she managed to not show it off too much.
Sparkle breathed heavily, fear making his chest hurt. He slowly pushed himself closer to his trainer when he saw the bird come forward to him and threatened to attack with another few sparks, until it began to speak to him. After a few chirps from the flying type, Sparkle’s eyelids slowly closed, and he collapsed. He too was in no condition to be running and battling around; he needed immediate care as well. The two children just placed their fates into the pirate-trainer’s hands for now…; what other choice did they have?

~”Cha!”~ Chatot was in the middle of what was probably a very heartwarming speech when the Pichu passed out, the wasted effort on his part annoying him a bit but in the end it was for the better. Zeke wasted no time in taking getting to work, carefully dragging the girl out by the shoulders since there wasn’t room to lift her, the Pichu staying locked in her arms. When he finally got her out Zeke finally got a good look at her condition, though the true cause of her injuries would never have crossed Zeke’s mind in a million years. “Wow there two really got thrashed, I can’t believe they have wild Pokemon this dangerous in a city.”
Now Zeke was in a bind he had only just gotten to this town and had no idea where the hospital was, or if there even was one, and the girl didn’t look like she was in any shape to answer questions so finding out where she lived was out too. Like it or not Zeke was going to have to wing it right here and now, and he was going to need all the hell he could get. “Bagon! Spheal! Front and center!”
Zeke tossed the two balls into the air, both opening in unison to unleash the Pokemon from within. ~”Spheal!”~ cried the blue furball cheerfully followed by a gruff and (allegedgy) tough growl ~”Bagon!”~
“Ok guys we’ve got work to do; Spheal go get this wet.” Zeke tossed his bandanna to Spheal and gestured to a nearby pond, she seemed to be running a fever so a cold compress was needed. Spheal took off, intending to dive completely into the pond instead of simply dipping the bandanna in. A goofball he was, but a reliable one, once soaked he’d hop straight out and finish his mission. That took care of that, but even though her fever needed cooling the rest of her needed warming so a small campfire was in order. “Bagon you’re on lumberjack duty, Bachuru you help him out.”
~“Gon!”~ Replied the dragon, not seeming to care what was going on but glad he’d at least gotten a fun job. With Bachuru following closely behind Bagon trotted over to a small tree nearby and stared at it intently and let out a growl, the same gaze Wild West gunfighters would exchange before opening fire. ~”BAGON!!”~
As though attacking another Pokemon Bagon charged in, plowing straight through the narrow trunk with a Zen Headbutt, then turning to finish off his prey with claws glowing bright. Dragon Claws to be precise.
~”Bagonbagon-BAGONBAGONBAGON-BAGOOOON!”~
Bachuru meanwhile just stood there as Bagon hacked the tree into usable bits, he knew Bagon well enough to wait until the psychotic little brute was done with his rampage before getting anywhere near him. When said time came Bachuru stepped in, using his Spider Web to bind the bits together so the could be hauled back to Zeke and the girl. Of course actually hauling them was another matter though, Bachuru gave a tug on the lines it cast out but the mass of wood didn’t budge. He pulled and pulled but Bagon quickly tired of this sight which was so pathetic it was painful and took the lines himself and easily pulled the entire mass along.
~”Chu…”~ the spider moaned, pretty sure that Bagon was just showing off instead of trying to be helpful. Meanwhile Zeke was literally diving into his pack trying to find any and all objects within that could be useful luckily he had a pretty good first aid kit but he had in idea if he had enough bandages to properly tend this many wounds. Speaking of wounds there was another, much bigger, problem Zeke was wrestling with. He could see all the wounds on her arms, legs and he could probably check her back if need be but there wasn’t much he could do about the ughhh….front side. He didn’t see any bleeding coming from there so there probably wasn’t any serious damage but if he missed something critical and she had complications later Zeke would never be able to forgive himself. Hoping there was another female in the area to remedy this Zeke looked around and finally noticed Castor watching the scene and though he wasn’t exactly what Zeke was hoping for, another set of hands was definitely welcome. “Ah perfect timing dude these two are in rough shape, if you’ve got any medical supplies we need them big time!”

The little girl watched as her partner collapsed in her arms. She huggled her tiny mouse pokemon and glanced up to the older boy, her honey brown eyes struggling to stay open. The child almost let out a small squeak as the boy took no waste in time to pull her out from under the bench, but managed to stay quiet, fear overcoming her instead of the instinct to scream. Keeping her arms tightly wrapped around her exhausted Pichu, the six year old girl watched in silence as the boy released his pokemon and got to work.
So far, he didn’t seem like a bad man… Yet. Yes, Akika could not bring herself to fully trust in this man just yet. Who knew? Maybe after the boy finished curing her, he might bring her back to the hell house! The thought made the child quiver like a delicate leaf, her small teeth chattering, her eyes filling with tears. After a small struggle, she managed to say one word, ”N… No…”
No. No as in many things. No, she didn’t want this boy bringing her back to her father. No, she didn’t want him to fix her now to gain her trust, and be a traitor later on. With a small whimper, the child became mute as of words again, as if she summoned all her courage up to say that one word and fall back into her dark fear-filled hole in her mind. She reached for her pokeballs, and after a struggle managed to pull out one. If this boy tried anything… Or showed any signs of taking her back… Akika was going to fight back.
Feeling dizzy was not a problem right now for her. Her cheeks were flushed into rosy pink, showing of her temperature almost, and the bruises all over her body (Yes, even in her front), made it hard for her to not yelp out each time she attempted to move.
But for now, she had to get better. The girl could only hope for now that the boy didn’t know of her father’s existence at all… And for her oneechan to come to her rescue.
Her oneechan… Akika closed her eyes fully, remembering of the brunette teen she had became fond of. Where was she…? Why did she leave her again…? Everything seemed to be a distant memory… And Akika could only whimper once more, as if she was a puppy calling for her guardian.

(OOC Note: Since the localized name for “Bachuru” has been revealed to be “Joltik” I’m gonna use it from hereon out)
From deep within the bowels of his backpack Zeke heard Aki’s attempt at speech and immediately sprung up, though he probably should have taken his head out of the bag before straightening up. Alas he did not and the bag stayed upside down on Zeke’s head, the contents went spilling all around his feet. Unfortunately, he didn’t catch what exactly she said but her moaning hastened his efforts all the more. It was about that time that Bagon and Joltik returned, Bagon wasted no time piling up some of the wood nearby then touching it off with a small burst of his Flamethrower attack. Joltik went to join Zeke and Chatot but with his work done Bagon sprawled out by the campfire, trying to act like he was too cool to care what was going on but once in a while he’d sneak a peak back at the group when he thought no one was looking.
~Spheal! Spheal!~
Spheal was next to return with the wet bandanna which Zeke promptly placed on the girl’s head before setting to work on her arms and legs; first spraying some medicine similar to the various potions used on Pokemon injuries (but this stuff was for humans only, not pokemon) then covering the wound with a stick-on bandage or the wrap up kind depending on its size. The lull in the action caused Spheal to finally take note of the little girl on the ground; such was his haste to get to the water that he hadn’t even seen her before. Spheal loved kids, being the youngest of Zeke’s Pokemon he was very much a kid himself and could never resist the chance for some fun.
~Spheal! Spheal-sphealspheal-spheal- sphealspheal~
It chirped in a sing–songy voice seemingly oblivious to the poor child’s plight Spheal began bouncing and rolling trying to get the girl to stop being so lazy and come play. Zeke was no stranger to the blue ball making a fool of himself, but the trainer was seriously starting to wonder if Spheal had finally crossed that fine line between being just plain silly and being mentally challenged. Even so he didn’t have the heart to burst the seal’s bubble, besides maybe a cheerful face would With one last bandage Zeke finished off the last of her limbs, now it was time to check her back. Since Bagon was being a jerk, Spheal was being crazy, and Chatot couldn’t lift things being a bird, that left Joltik to pick up the slack, “Joltik, would you mind?”
Zeke couldn’t flip her over completely so he motioned for Joltik to go around the other side, and then carefully flipped the girl up so that Joltik could act as a support from the front while Zeke worked on her back. All this of course had to be done while making sure not to crush the Pichu she was cuddling in the process. Her back was far worse than any of her limbs, and it still made no sense how this happened. Zeke would never have guessed the real source of Aki’s injuries, he still suspected a wild Pokemon All was not going so well on the other side of the child however, sure Joltik was a tough little bug but he was starting to lose his grip and in danger of dropping Aki. Luckily a round blue body wedged itself under Aki before that happened. Spheal wasn’t trying to help Joltik however, he was just jealous since looked to him like Joltik and the Pichu were the only ones getting a hug.
“Dang, I haven’t seen someone this messed up since that time Harley messed with that troupe of Primapes.” Zeke said as he returned Aki to her original position. Harley was one of the sailors Zeke had once sailed with, famous among the crew for getting pummeled to within an inch of his life one time when the crew had docked in Vermillion City. Unlike Aki however, Harley totally had his beating coming. “But what the hell kind of crazy Iona pokemon would do this crap to a kid?”
Now Zeke was at a crossroads since, as Joltik quickly pointed out, Zeke had yet to treat the front of Aki’s torso.
~Joltik-jolt!~
“I know, I know, but seriously I can’t just go lifting a girl’s shirt up, and in a public place even.” The yellow spider pointed angrily to the blood stains on her shirt, Zeke knew full well what he had to do but that didn’t make it any easier. Even the sailor’s pokemon had to admit that their trainer had a point….
~Gon!~
Seemingly out of nowhere Bagon popped up and put an end to the issue by grabbing the shirt and lifting it himself to expose the wounds and everything else under there. For a moment the group gave Bagon a four-fold dose of the stink eye, each was thinking the same thing though Zeke was the only one who actually said anything. “Not cool dude.”
Bagon didn’t care what the others said and strolled nonchalantly back to his lounging spot. Zeke was still far from comfortable with the situation but since the damage had been done so there was nothing he could do but suck it up and get to work. He finished in record time, discarding the empty medicine bottle and the empty bandage boxes afterwards. It had taken his entire supply but the medical work was finally done much to everyone’s relief. Now all they could do was wait…
