A warm breeze crossing the lake chased petite waves to the shoreline and encouraged them to climb onto the black sand of the beach. The temperate gust then wound its way through the long grasses and to the young trainers standing nearby.
Akira and Rin had traveled from Lakewood Town in record time, as Kari had teleported them from town to town, eagerly pushing forward in the hopes of redeeming himself.
The pair had only stayed in Lakewood for a few short moments after the battle, for as they healed a crowd began to form. Questions soon arose as to what’d just happened and the few “brave” enough to watch from their homes told of Team Rocket and two bold youngsters with wild hair colors.
“No one came to help us, because no one lives in that part of town yet, it’s all new housing. My family’s house used to be one of the last within city limits, but they’ve just extended the borders.” Rin coolly informed Akira, without turning to face him.
They hadn’t been on good terms since the fight; Tray had muddied the waters with his surprise appearance and caused a tension between the two. How? Why? Who knows, but Rin just needed to get her head straight and that was best accomplished with silence.
RIn pushed through the waist high grasses to lake’s shore and seating herself just out of the wave’s reach. Then thinking about the battle she placed her head onto her knees and stared out, across the lake. Tray should have beat her.

Akira opened his eyes as a warm breeze blew through his hair and the sound of small crashing waves reached his ears. Akira looked around and saw grass at least waist high, well, on Rin anyway. Not far from the grass was a beach with sand as black as coal, that meant they were more in likely near a volcano.
How odd it seemed to him, he's arm had been bandaged again by Rin, yet the two of them seemed so distant from each other. Akira looked down at Rin as her hair slightly blew in the breeze. The smell of her hair flew through the air and in a fluid motion reached his nose. It tickled his nose and caused an, "Achoo"
He gave a sigh as he saw that Flyff had returned to her perch on Rin's head as soon as they arrived at the Apalos lake. They had finally made it, after the strange detour that occurred. What seemed the most strange to him was that in the town they had been attacked by a Rocket and a person who seemed to know Rin and her likewise.
Akira tilted his head as Rin started to tell him why no one had helped in the assault. He took the note that Rin hadn't turned to tell him this. She was acting rather coldly to him it seemed. He placed his hand's in the pocket of his jeans as he started to recall them crowd that had gathered afterward.
They told of two bold teens who fought the two as they watched. Of course each had an excuse for why that didn't help the trainers. He had got slightly annoyed at each and everyone of them. They acted so brave now that everything was done.
Akira silently followed Rin as she pushed through the tall grass towards the lake. When they reached the beach, Rin sat down her placed her head on her knees and looked across the lake. She seemed saddened, as if something that she didn't want running through her mind had came up.
Akira sat down next to Rin in an indian style and looked her with his soft jade eyes at her face. It was a face showing that she was deep in thought. At first he struggled looking for words before giving a sigh, "Rin, what was he to you?"

Rin shifted under Akira’s curious gaze and question. Who was he to ask such things? They’ve known each other for what, a few hours? However… Within their few hours together, they’ve been through more then most. Rin shrugged, still feeling his gaze on her, “he’s the first trainer I met on my journey.” She then out stretched her arm then and poked her index finger into the ebony sand. “And we traveled together for sometime, so he was a companion of mine, but it’s all nothing to worry about,” she said turning to face Akira. “How about we find ourselves some slowpoke?”

Akira watched her face experssion as she told him just the basic of the man. It was obvious it was hard for her to speak about. He looked into the sky as she continued, so did she feel something for him? Is that why she acted the way she did.
All of a sudden a sharp pain came bursting from his chest. He fought the urge to squeeze his chest with all his might. His gaze fell from the sky to the black sand on which he sat on. Right now, the dark colors of the sand seemed to relax his chest slightly. Why had he felt that pain, and why was it so sudden and painful.
He turned back over to Rin's general direction and saw that she was drawing in the sand as spoke of the male. He heard a small amount of endearment in her voice. So that was how it was huh. She had feelings for him. Akira stood up and cracked his back before hearing Rin say something about Slowpoke.
Akira gave a nod and said, "Yeah, sounds like a plan to me." Akira outstretched his hand so that he could help Rin up. He gave a soft smile told her that he understood, or at least he believed that he understood.
Fine, I understand, No Need to say more.....

[dice=6] Waddling along the path were two Slowpoke brothers. They hadn't a care in the world. They walked and walked. Waddling down the sandy beach. They soon found themselves standing in front of two odd looking Pokémon. One had bright purple hair while the other, red.“Slow... ... ... poke?” One brother questioned the other.

Taking his hand Rin heard the long drawl of their desired Pokémon. “At least something is going our way, Akira,” she hummed as he pulled her to her feet. Then pulling free a pokeball, she turned to face the odd pair, “Fytevo, front and center.”

Akira gave a smile as Rin stood up. She seemed a little bit happier. That made his heart race, but he wasn't sure why. He shrugged it off and turned around at the sound of a Slowpoke. Two to be exact. One being purple the other being pink. Akira looked over Rin as she called out a pokemon. He looked at Flyff he was sleeping soundly on Rin's head.
He gave a slight chuckle before taking out a poffin and saying, "Come here Slowpoke, have some poffin."

The two Slowpoke watched a fancy light show as another Pokémon was released.“Slow… … … ?” The first brother asked the other as it looked perplexed. Then, something far more alluring took place. The odd red-haired Pokémon offered some enticing poffins. Both Slowpoke moseyed towards the open-handed Pokémon. Seating themselves before the man, they took his poffins and began slowly munching on them.“Po~~… … o~ke.” The second brother spoke lethargically with moderate satisfaction.

Rin starred at the slowpoke as they waddled over to Akira. They were slow… Very slow, but that was to be expected. Sighing, she pulled out one of her vacant pokeballs and underhanded it at the heftier brother, in hopes of a quick catch.
I need to get out of here. She shifted her weight and looked entirely at the pokeball, just click, three times.

Akira gave a slight chuckle as he saw the slowpoke's both came to him because of the Pokeblock. He patted the Slowpoke with the pink hair and looked at him. He looked like he could become something special, with a little contest training that is.
Akira turned to say something to Rin that was until she tossed a pokeball at the purple haired Slowpoke. Well, Akira turned back to the pink haired slowpoke. He gave a smile and reached to his belt and grabbed a pokeball. He then said, "Why not join me Slowpoke?" Akira held the pokeball out for the pink Slowpoke to enter if he wished.
