Iona Island

__ Not so pretty, is it?

Team Rocket’s actions have devastated Iona. Their nefarious exploits provoked the island deities and in their madness they induced a number of earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, storms and tidal waves that ravaged the land; a real end of days scenario. Entire cities have been destroyed and so have many of the the people who lived in them. To make matters worse, legends are no longer legends in Iona. The “legendary" dogs, birds, sprites, and guards were all unchained, and a number of evolutionary stones have been irradiated by the power of these Pokémon and transformed into Mega Stones. And that's just the start of Iona’s problems.

Route 8 is one of the few routes paved on the island and trainers will run into a hodgepodge of Pokémon that still remain in the area despite the large amount of human activity.

Common
Rattata, Raticate, Sentret, Zizagoon, Ekans, Jigglypuff, Chimecho, Skitty, Spinda, Meowth, Snubbull, Abra, and Ralts

Uncommon
Vulpix, Plusle, and Minun

Rare
Zangoose, Seviper, and Ditto
