Iona Island

__ Not so pretty, is it?

Team Rocket’s actions have devastated Iona. Their nefarious exploits provoked the island deities and in their madness they induced a number of earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, storms and tidal waves that ravaged the land; a real end of days scenario. Entire cities have been destroyed and so have many of the the people who lived in them. To make matters worse, legends are no longer legends in Iona. The “legendary" dogs, birds, sprites, and guards were all unchained, and a number of evolutionary stones have been irradiated by the power of these Pokémon and transformed into Mega Stones. And that's just the start of Iona’s problems.

Route 5 wraps around the base of Frost Mountain; The route itself is flat, however sheer cliffs run along it's eastern edge and to the west lies a rocky plain, it’s something all trainer’s should experience.
