What was your first pokemon game?

What was your first Pokemon game? State which game it was and what your starter was. You can also state which one you played first if you didn't actually buy/get/own one.

The first game I played was Rath's Red, then the first one I owned was Blue (I think) or possibly Yellow. I'm pretty sure it was yellow. Therefore my starter would be Pikachu.

So please reply below stating your first game! : D

Edit: Through further analysis, Yellow was my first game.

I played Yellow first, Pika the Pikachu was my starter. That Pikachu was tank. I could take out the elite four with it pretty much alone. Then I got emerald so many years later. Now I play a bunch of games =D

My first game was Red, and i started with a Squritle named Turtly xD, we got through a lot of stuff together =p

The first game I played was my younger cousin’s Red. Naturally, this meant I did not have a starter on that game. First Pokémon game I actually owned, my step mother bought for me… randomly. It was Crystal, and I started off with a Cyndaquil named Cyndaquil (and was quickly discarded as a low-levelled Quilava).

I first snagged and played Mick's Yellow Version and the first game I owned was either Crystal or Gold; I had an unhealthy and sicking love for Cyndaquil, back then, and I think his name was Tyler.

My first game I played was Silver. It was some guy from my old school that he let me barrow but I couldn't turn it off or I would lose everything because the save didn't work xD

The first game that was mine was Leaf Green and Squirtal... I think was my starter. Now I have all the regions in pretty much every platform :3 Yes I know, I'm a pokemon nerd :3

The first game I played was Crystal.

Now since I was entirely new to the Pokemon games and was only watching the Anime I didn't know that the different games were in different regions. So since Charmander was my favourite Pokemon that's what I wanted for my starter. When I couldn't get Charmander I was actually extremely angry.

So I picked Cyndaquil. The day after I picked Cyndaquil on Crystal was the day that Ash's Cyndaquil first appeared. Cyndaquil instantly beat Charmander as my favourite Pokemon and I was much happier about my available choices.

That Cyndaquil was named Blaze and it could solo Red by the end of the game
