THE BOY
Castor Lee Asteri 17 | Male | Elite 4 Member | Love All, Trust a Few, Do Wrong to None
Guided by his own values rather than traditional practices, Castor is a true idealist. He’s always looking for the good in people and events despite the overwhelming odds against it. Unfortunately, Castor’s idealism sets him up for daily disappointments as he struggles to accept that evil things happen in the world. He also tends to idolize those close to him–who then in return, by no fault of their own, let him down. Castor desperately needs to realize that no one is perfect.
Because he deals with things according to how he feels about them, Castor’s primary mode of living is focused internally. His outward expressions are awkward and uncomfortable. He's adopted a “listen to many, but talk to few” attitude and keeps his thoughts to himself and over the years, he’s become private, reserved, and self-conscious making him difficult to get to know.
Castor often drifts in and out of deep thought. He enjoys contemplating the hypothetical and the philosophical aspects of life and if left unchecked, he may start to lose touch with his surroundings. It can take a great deal of energy from his friends and Pokémon to bring him back to reality.
When conflict arises Castor will do all that he can to avoid it–this doesn’t apply to Pokémon battles, although he’d rather forfeit than see a Pokémon seriously injured, but to personal challenges and criticisms, which he does not take well. Instead of taking these conflicts as inspiration to improve himself and his position he’ll spend his energy trying to reach a middle ground with his critic.

HIS LOOK
| At birth Castor’s hair was a vibrant orange, yet as he aged his hair grayed and by the age of seven his hair color had completely changed and though his eye-color never altered his “new” clean white hair causes them to glitter a unique shade of golden amber.
The rest of Castor’s form is stereotypical. He stands an even five-eight and weights a fit one-thirty, with meticulously groomed hair and skin that radiates in a healthy glow; the average description of attractive.
When he's not in his school uniform, his wardrobe is simple and trendy, however, for contests and other special occasions he’ll wear an elaborate black and white ensemble with a coat that can only be compared to a pirate’s frock. Castor also always carries an umbrella with him due to his team’s ability to change the weather.

HIS STORY
Act 1
| Castor was born seventeen years ago into a privileged family residing in Celestic Town. As the youngest of three he was both bullied and favored, though as he and his brothers aged everything begun to change. Castor was quickly forgotten and he watched quietly as his older brothers grew into great trainers as he failed to demonstrate any knack for it.
Stereotypically slipping “through the cracks,” Castor isolated himself from his fast paced family and their ignorant lifestyle and begun to grow into his own. Then, eager to replace his ill fitted family, he enclosed himself within the people of Celestic and their history.
Surrounded by a town of superstition, Castor’s love of the night sky was fueled by the proud townsfolk. One man in particular encouraged his exploration of the dark sky, a young and eccentric astrologist by the name of Leon. The affection that he and Leon shared worried his mother and she vowed to send him away if they didn’t separate.
Several weeks later and in a jealous rage Mrs. Asteri sent Castor to Iona to live with is aunt until he’d matured and forgot about Leon; however, just before Castor set sail he received a petite Pokémon from his role model as a memorandum and promised never to forget.

Act 2
| As Iona was ravaged by the nefarious Team Rocket and the elements they unwittingly unleashed Castor did all he could to aid those in need from the safety of Faros Town. He'd grown close to both Kitsumaru and Kimi in the events leading up to the eruption of Frost Mountain and the duo left him in charge of the the city as they entered the fray. He and his weather altering team kept the brunt of damning weather from hitting the seaside town and created a safe haven for refugees. It was his noble acts that awarded him his position in the Elite 4, as well as his ability to sympathize with people and Pokémon.
