Love could only smile attractively at Kori’s rather unconvincing joke, regarding his physique. Her words said no, but her body- her body was saying quite the opposite. Her words were dragged out, as if she had to think of an insult, and her face, though somewhat persuasive wasn’t fooling anyone but herself. The same could be said for the attractive Purple-haired woman who finally given her name. Perplexed as to what brought the sudden change in attitude, believing his sexy best friend, Kori having something to do with it; Love was just content with knowing her name.
“Rin; what a lovely name.” Love exclaimed with his usual pleasant tone, as he soon moved closer to Rin, hints of water falling down his chest as he did so. He had the right mind to expose Kori’s fraud with another “water-show” demonstration. However, he wasn’t in a rush to see a flush of Red Cross the dark-haired’s face. Nonetheless, he couldn’t allow such a comment to go disregarded. Before entering Rin’s personal space, Love gave her one of those “just a moment” hand gestures, and turned to face his appealing friend, Kori.
“Yea, I couldn’t possibly match a creature designed for fighting.” He spoke in response to Kori’s false comment, comparing him to a Fighting-Type Pokémon. “When I was designed for pleasure.”, finishing his statement, Love walked over towards Kori, stressing direct eye contact; contacting his Crystal Blue irises with the dark blue temptresses that brought out Kori’s extremely attractive facial features. Grasping her hand gently, Love brought it up and turned towards Rin.
“Now, Kori, let’s not act so rude to the new girl, okay?”

"Ha, ha, ha you're very funny Love!" Kori spoken sarcastically as she rolled her eyes at her hilarious friend and his excuse of a comeback. Actually, it was a decent comeback to put up against her very own words. Feeling someone grasping her hand, Kori quickly glanced downward and noticed that Love was now caressing her gentle hand. "Love, get your hideous hand away from mind!" She snapped rising her free hand, and slapping Love forcefully. After punishing her male friend, she quickly pushed a few of her black hair out of her face, and flashed another malicious smirk at other two Rocketeers standing next to her.
Hearing Love suggestion about not being so rude to the new girl, Kori's smirk started to grow a bit more as she glanced over at Rin and then over to Love. Love, we both know that I do as I please, and no one would dare stop me from doing so," she replied calmly.

Stino strolled down the hall with the uniform pace he’d picked up during his years of training as he sought out his newest recruit. He smirked as he pondered the young female’s whereabouts; She couldn’t have wandered far surrounded by the “enemy,” though here, she was viewed as the enemy. Breaking his cold exterior, Stino let out a deep chuckle, it was all about one’s point of view. Many of the members fallow blindly, believing the Team’s actions noble, and Rin was a threat. How charming.
Muffled voices floated down the corridor and her curt replies where unmistakable amongst them. Two senior officers hovered around Rin, lightly battering her; Stino stood back and watched the events unfold, amused at her distress. He was the only one she knew and his position as guardian was arguably just as entertaining, if not more so.
“We both know that I do as I please, and no one would dare stop me from doing so,” the urge to laugh tugged at the corners of Stino’s mouth as Miss Kori Bell elevated her importance; today was just full of comedy, wasn’t it? Stepping into the conversation, Stino coldly nodded to the two officers, and faced Rin. “I’ve got you something,” he greeted her and calmly under handed two pokeballs to her, one containing a golbat, the other a pupitar.

The two Rockets began to flirt and Rin couldn’t help but recall Ozzora and Serenity dancing around their feelings for each other, and soon enough, her memories had her drifting off until Love’s words swiftly drug her back to the matter at hand; “When I was designed for pleasure,” wtf, where did I fall through the rabbit hole and fly through the wardrobe!?
No sooner had he finished, with is ridiculously scandalous statement, was he entering what was considered her personal space, and Rin took a hesitant step back not wanting to be caught in a lovers quarrel; Kori would surely make her life a living hell if she managed to tempt Lancelot – not that she was trying too.
Growing nervous, Rin felt her face flush again, surely looking like an immature child, and proceeded to nudge backwards. Bumping into the wall, she froze, though, thankfully, Love had moved on and was focused again on the harpy, leaving her room to breath.
Quickly zoning out, she contemplated sneaking down the remainder of the hall while they bickered with one and other, but before she could make up her mind, a familiar figure appeared. Stino. His gait was one of his defining traits and had her blood not been boiling in her ears, she probably would have heard his approach and prevented him from seeing her panicked, however that had not been the case and he stood peering down at her. Just peachy.
“I’ve got you something,” he said, addressing her, before tossing two dark orbs into the air. Miraculously, she smoothly caught the first, but the second bounded off her fingertips and she fumbled about to grab hold of it.
Once Rin regained her balance and was sure the pokeballs weren’t going anywhere, she stood to face Stino once more. Thank you? No. No matter what these meant, there was no reason to thank him. Anger rose in her stomach as the distracting pair of Rockets no longer held control over her line of thought and the full weight of her imprisonment came back.
“Stino, I want to battle you.”

Color tinted her cheeks as she gazed up to him, relief and panic crossed her face, before the familiar emotion of anger surfaced and tainted the girl’s expressions.
“Such a bold girl,” Stino replied with his usual sense of seriousness, “this won’t win you your freedom, you know.”
Turning, Stino motioned her to fallow and proceeded down the halls to the indoor stadium.

He’s always so composed… Rin’s heart pounded and the subtle relief his presence granted was gone. She’d only half expected him to accept, after all why would he bother battling a grunt? Simple, the thought of losing never came to mind and her lose would undoubtedly “knock her down a few pegs.” Rin shuttered, as she continued to review the odds; he had two powerful Pokémon, one of which was unknown to her, and what did she have? Good question! She was left holding two mysteries.
Talk about a double-egged sword, she could have either bowed down to his will and taken a serious blow to her pride or challenged him and… taken a serious blow to her pride. Rin let out an inaudible cry of frustration, at least she’d soon know what she’s dealing with.

Stino held open one of the heavy iron doors for Rin to walk through and into the arena, before entering himself. The room was spacious, as any battlefield should be, and well lit via a vast skylight. A few grunts had been sparing, while several watched from the balcony above, and all stopped as he wordlessly strolled to point. Unable suppress it any longer, a confident grin crept onto his face. What is she trying to prove? He mused as he looked to Rin, what an odd girl.

Rin coyly walked passed Stino, careful not to brush against him and immediately headed for her position on the field. She watched somberly as Stino did the same causing the grunts to scatter.
They either fear or respect him, Rin droned, looking down to the orbs in her hand, but… But! We could remedy that! She almost laughed, finding a reason to better flue her intentions, but paused as she caught Stino ogling her. “Humpf, so you want a show?” She shouted while tossing both of the dark balls into the ring, “well here it is!”
Both spheres cracked open simultaneously with an ominous dark light as the two Pokémon escaped. Rin was able to identify the call of the first, gulbat, but the seconded voice that sounded was foreign and she found herself facing a pupitar. I… I… I don’t even know what type that is! Rin felt like screaming… So much for humiliating him.

A show? Stino raised his brow in a contemplated gesture and eagerly watched the young coordinator cast out her two Pokémon in a true flourish of “coordinator” form. Graceful. Proud. Clueless? He was momentarily stunned as Rin’s face clearly reveled a look of dread. Had her Pokémon really been that big of a surprise? His grin then morphed into a laugh, as the mauve haired maiden’s expression grew even more panicked.
Tossing out his own team, Stino let loose his powerful fearow to roam the skies and his heavyset starter, Kangaskhan, to rein over everything else.
“Now,” he spoke with a commanding tone, “lets get this started.” And with that, his kangaskhan let out a deep rumble and rush forward towards the pupitar, reading comet punch, while Fearow dove at the gulbat using drill peck.

Kangaskhan… What a monster. Rin had yet to meet one in person (well, until now,) and stood in awe at its large size. Neither of her Pokémon were half the beast’s size, but if tiny electric mice can take down giant stone snakes, she could sure as hell take down this over sized roo. Goal one had been competed, as she now knew his full team and would see them in action, but now the daunting task of achieving the second loomed overhead; a victory wouldn’t come easy. “Golbat, supersonic, then screech!” Rin called, assuming that the bat would know said moves; hell, what bat wouldn’t? Then looking side long to the rock… Bug… Steel lookin’ thing, Rin shouted, “defend,” hoping the large pod would come up with something on it’s own and covered her ears hoping everything would turn out. Golbat fluttered and did as told, uttering two high pitched and painful screams towards the charging Ferrow, leaving Rin to let out a sigh of relief; it both listened and knew both moves issued, thank god. Looking back to the pupitar, Rin’s expression grew somber as the roo continued to rush forward unhindered -- Stino's laughter taunting her in the background. Defend, defend, defend… There was a brife rumble and then a sharp "crack" as an earthquake shook the entire stadium. Rin stumbled, struggling to keep her balance, excited that the pod had pulled through.
