A bright light occupied the room as the Castform used Sunny Day. Sparky squinted in an attempt to better view the Castform. The Sunny Day caused the Light Screen box around the small electric Pokemon to shimmer, reminding Kitsumaru of a Pokemon Contest. Kimi's bird was using Aerial Ace on Castor's cat who was going to use scratch on the bird. Meanwhile, the large electric type used Earthquake, causing the floor beneath then to shake violently.
Kitsumaru needed to act immediately. "Sparky, jump!" Sparky sprang into the air while Gallade was caught by the Earthquake. Gallade was thrown into the air from the impact but rebounded quickly using Psycho Cut the instant his trainer had said it, regardless of the sound making it seem mute. With Sparky in the air, Kitsumaru ordered, "Thunder!" At a somewhat higher altitude, Kitsumaru's Pokemon let out several volts of lightning from its body which shot downward towards the now temporarily-Fire-type Pokemon.

Pullox's "sunlight" illuminated and reviled Sparky's light screen. The force field held strong and would protect the mouse (and the rest of the party [Gen.II Light Screen, Bulbapedia]) from any special damage… Which was quite bothersome for that's all Pullox had. Castor ground his teeth as he sorted through his predicament. I guess these kids aren't gym leaders for nothing, he moaned.
The white haired trainer then groaned even louder when he saw that Pullox wasn't the only one with an issue. The honchkrow, Tiny, had dogged Othoniel's attack and was now barreling towards the cat using aerial ace.
"Othon-" he started to shout, but was cut off by the earth rumbling beneath him.
"Othoniel, dodge?!" The fierce feline sunk to the earth at his trainer's command; he literally flattened himself against the gym floor. This wasn't the dodge Castor had in mind, it wasn't a dodge at all, the attack couldn't be avoided, duh! But upon closer inspection the cat's plan was flawless -- if the bird wished to strike the meowth it'd need to scrape the earth to do so and nicking the ground at such a high speed would surely result in disaster for the assailant. If Kimmi pushed through with the attack Othoniel would be hit for sure but not without injuring her Pokemon in return... Right?
Then, without command, to further deter the bird, Othoniel began to paw at the coin on his head and unleashed a torrent of coins (pay day) to create a minefield. Crows do enjoy shiny things… Hopefully Othoniel's attack would be ready in time to buffet the honchkrow.
Meanwhile to his left, Sparky leapt into the air and let loose a torrent of thunderbolts towards Pullox.
"Pullox, weather ball! Three of them! Disperse the lightening!" Castor shouted in panic.
The weather pokemon fallowed the command and propelled three large orbs of fire towards the lightening. These orbs collided with the electricity and exploded in the air like fire works. A delayed "boom"echoed through the stadium with each explosion and reverberated in Castor's chest. Soon a mere smoke trail was all that remained of Sparky's attack.

"Baby you're a song, you make me wanna roll my windows down,"
Kimi looked at the events that played out. She got only one of the pokemon with the earthquake. The other pokemon who would have been effected just used it as a way to hurt her own pokemon. Kimi sigh deeply at her poor choice and slightly regretted it now. She rolled her eyes then took in the new problem, Psycho Cut and Pay Day. This would be a harder plan since she didn't want it to do more damage than good. Before she knew it, the psychic blades reached her electric pokemon. Kimi let a small tear fall. She didn't like to see her pokemon get hurt and also she didn't want to be defeated by Kitsumaru again.
Kimi took a second to regroup then began to think a little clearer. "Fluffy! Use Psychic and create an earth barrier!" Kimi said lively to her pokemon. The Electivire used it's attack to pick up some of the now uneven earth and made a nice wall before it. 'Maybe this could help? At least for something...' Kimi trailing off in thought. It in fact did help in a way. The path for the bird pokemon wasn't as hazardous as it was before and some of the coins were moved out of sight. Kimi then weakly smiled then shouted "Go for it Tiny! Be careful of the shiny coins though!"
The Honchkrow continued at the cat. It swayed towards some of the coins then remembered what it's trainer said and continued for the cat. Finally the attack lands onto the other pokemon and the bird flys back into the air with slight damage. It let out a squawk and perched on the edge of the wall that his comrade had made. Then the pokemon let out a shadow ball towards the rest of the coins in hopes to destroy them.
"and cruise."

Kitsumaru began feeling lightheaded. So much was going on now and he was having trouble taking it all in. Sparky's attack was stopped as was Gallade's. Kitsumaru tried collecting himself but found it hard to utter the few commands of Iron Tail and Leaf Blade. The Minun sprang up towards the Castform and threw its glowing tail at it. Gallade's elbow began to glow green and he sprang at the earthy wall hiding the Electivire and began to hack away at it. Kitsumaru became frustrated with this situation. Was this battle really necessary?! Time was ticking by and there were things that really needed to be done before planning the attack. This would only tire out the Pokemon and leave them vulnerable. Kitsumaru was beginning to regret ever thinking that recruiting people would be easy. This kid with the Castform really didn't seem to want to help, nor did Kitsumaru find him to be the fighting-type. (no pun intended...)

Triple battles. Castor had frequently fought with his brother's in this manner and felt as at home as he could in a battelfeild, but the gym leaders? They seemed frazzeled. This three on three battle was by no means what they were acsumed too, which gave Castor an edge -- granted it was a small edge, but it kept him from falling off the (hypothetical) cliff he found himself on.
Honchcrow tore towards Othoniel and struck with prescsion. It was really only a matter of time before the meowth took some damage, because, well aerial ace couldn't be dodged. It was by the grace of Arceus that the move hadn't stuck him sooner. Honchcrow, however, due Othoniel El's payday, didn't escape the attack scott free and was lightly buffeted by several magical coins.
Castor noted that the bird appeared to be drawn to the coins and began formulate a makeshift plan for his next attack...
"Othoniel, shield yourself behind a wall of coins," he said as he made eye contact with the cat and simultaneously scuffed his shoe across the stadium floor. Hopefully the brash cat would understand his command.
The trainer then eyed his other Pokemon, Pullox, who was fairing much better than Othoniel on the other side of the stadium. He'd just neutralized Sparky's attack and now hovered above it all glowing like the sun. The weather pokemon drifted back and forth momentarily but ceased the moment Kitsumaru ordered the next attack, iron tail, and launched another weather ball at his attacker. It was the only offensive move he knew, so Castor needn't say a thing.
The flaming orb tore towards Sparky, who was flying butt first into the air? with his tail shining metallically.

"Tonight," Kimi gasped as she reached for her head. The room was starting to spin around her as she slowly sat on the ground. Kimi took in a deep breath and closed her eyes. "Just Breathe" She opened her eyes again then looked at her pokemon. Electivire's wall was being attacked, but it was holding steady. Honchkrow's attack must have missed since the cat pokemon was using the coins again. Kimi grabbed her head in pain and gasped again. This battle needs to end fast. "Try to take out those coins again Tiny!"The Honchkrow did as the trainer had asked of it then Kimi looked back at Electivire. She thought that the wall wouldn't last much longer. Once the wall fell down, Kimi felt a little defeated on top of the pain she was experiencing. She had to admit Kitsumaru's pokemon never cease to amaze her with their power. She only wished she could do the same. "Ice," Kimi stated softly. The Electric pokemon heard it's trainer and launched at the other with it's ice punch.
"We own the night."

Gallade was smashed in the face with an icy fist from Electivire. He tumbled backwards lieing on the ground, exhausted. Minun's tail struck the weather ball and it burst into a bright flash of fire-y light. Minun plopped onto the ground, exhausted like Gallade. Kitsumaru sighed and raised his arm. "Okay. I give. My Pokemon are just too tired. I don't want to push them anymore. It could lead to an undesirable outcome. And with the current situation it's best to not push them too far." He took out his Pokeballs and his Pokemon returned to them in a flash of bright red light. Kitsumaru returned them to his belt and walked hurriedly to the side of the Gym and said, "Please, you two finish." Kitsumaru had too much on his mind to be fighting right now...

With an uncharistically large grin on his face Castor summoned Pullox back into his Pokéball. He was amazed that he was able to best Kitsumaru and Sparky in battle and felt a sudden surge of confidence in his battle with Kimmi as his latest plan unfolded before him.
Honchkrow tore into Othoniel’s wall, but the cat was nowhere to be found on the other side of it. Perfect. Othoniel had taken Castor’s que and ducked benieth some of the debris caused by the earthquake. The cat then proceeded to maneuver his way behind the attacking crow and lunged towards the feathery adversary with his claws outstreched [scratch]. Castor, still grinning, crossed his fingers hoping that the attack would hit.
OoC: You didn’t say how Honchkrow began to deal with the wall, so I’m just assuming he flew near it and cast some form of attack…

"Looking at a mutating skyline," Kimi bit her lip as she was feeling the pain again. 'It's time...' she thought. She raised a hand to call off her pokemon then reached for it's pokeball. Her pokemon was truly exhausted, and they needed to stat heading out. Kimi flashed a glance at Kitsumaru knowing or maybe assuming he'd thought the same once in the battle at least. Once both pokemon returned, she put the balls away. "I think you have proved yourself enough to me. I wont feel bad giving you my gym's badge," she explain flatly, "I'm sorry if it wasn't fully what you expected, but it is a pressing time."Kimi moved to the dark room where she hit the lights before wordlessly. She gathered some supplies and carried it out to the boys . "I know it isn't much, but I have some potions from an event a while ago," she trailed off, "I thought maybe we might need them now or later." She stood there worried, but she had some confidence. Kimi was a gym leader in fact and so was Kitsumaru. They could take out any enemy and with help of other trainers she told to herself.
"It wraps me in the sparkling twilight."

Kitsumaru took the potions from Kimi and quickly used them on his Pokemon. He grinned and pulled out his own gym's badge and handed it to the boy. Kitsumaru stated, "Well. I suppose that's it. I think we had better get going. We really need to start recruiting trainers to face Team Rocket. Things are getting out of hand and at a rapid rate. The sooner we get going the better. But where should we look?" Kitsumaru hadn't realized it but he was now pacing around the gym with Sparky trotting behind him with a worried expression.
