| Personality: | A man with a good nature, strong will, and a cheerful demeanor. Tristan is an individual who prides himself on his good character. He’s an honest man, a trait that has both earned and lost him some fans. To put it bluntly, he won’t stray from the truth to get his own way. If you’re asking him a question, you’re going to get an answer. Whether it’s an answer that you like is up to you to decide. He is also very proud, especially in any achievements he and his Pokemon have made as a team. He can often be heard praising his team on their successes, treating them to their favourite foods after a victory or successful training session. Tristan is very goal driven as well, setting himself an objective and working to reach it. His unrivaled determination has sometimes lead to him being called overzealous. Sometimes he’ll take himself too far, sleeping less than he should or pushing too hard and burning himself out. It’s something that he has also realized about himself, yet coming up with a resolution for that quality appears to be something of a roadblock for him. There is very little that can put him in a negative mood. Yet, with the resurgence of Team Rocket and the chaotic havoc they wreaked around Iona, his attitude does become noticeably more standoffish when presented with a known Rocket member. |
| Appearance: | If muscle density was something you’re looking for in a person, Tristan was the last place to go for it. He is really quite average sized. What he lacks in musculature he makes up for in height, standing at a lengthy six foot two. He is rather average looking, a black mop of hair that reaches just below his neck, featuring a pair of dark blue eyes. You can always catch him dressing to match the situation. Cold weather outside? Sweaters and heavy jackets. Spring breeze? Maybe a vest and some long sleeves. Whichever is fitting for the current day. |
| History: | Born and raised on the outskirts of Border Town, Tristan was never a stranger to hard work. For most of his childhood he would be hustling around the family farm, performing several daily duties all in favour of giving his mother and father some time to rest. It wasn’t until the ripe old age of twelve that his parents finally relinquished him to the life of a Pokemon trainer. Receiving, no, choosing a Growlithe as his starting companion, affectionately naming him Leon, the two attached to each other like white on rice. This was the beginning of Tristan’s journey to becoming a competent Pokemon trainer. Battling locally for a year or two around the ranches, he finally set off to journey across the world, meeting Pokemon of all shapes and sizes. As he travelled, his team grew in size as well as power. His Growlithe, now a powerful Arcanine was the leader of the pack. Filling out the ranks was a Haunter named Nyx, the playful trickster of the team, as well as an Abra named Cicero, the youngest and still more fragile than he was effective as of yet. By the age of twenty-one, he had successfully travelled the world. Visiting each continent in between extended breaks of returning home and spending time with his family. With the ability to cross off the stereotypical “travel the world” objective off his bucket list, as well as the knowledge and experience needed to start a proper ‘Gym Challenge’, he has returned home to Iona to begin his first trek to becoming a Pokemon Champion. Unfortunately, the Rockets may have gotten in the way of that one. |
