Sheryl entered the forest at a slowed pace, but still running steadily with her new friend, Moga the Emolga at her side. She slowed down and eventually stopped at a fallen tree. She was panting heavily and said, "I'm sorry Moga. I'm getting all riled up again... I'm just so worried." She stared off into the forest along the path and her mind began to drift before Moga poked at one of the balls at her belt. "Oh?" Emolga squeaked at her in what seemed to be a question. She replied, "Oh! That's Bakuhatsu! My fiance gave him to me. I wonder if he knows what happened to my parents... Sorry. Sidetracked again! Here. Let's introduce you!" Sheryl took the ball from her belt and gave it a toss. The little black and white fire mouse appeared with a little yawn and wiggle. Moga excitedly greeted the Pokemon with excited squeaks and Bakuhatsu returned the favor with more friendly little noises. Sheryl grinned and said to them, "We should maybe take a rest. Once we get to Megalos my boyfriend should be able to let us stay with him at his apartment! He's really nice. I think you'd both like him." The two little Pokemon made excited noises as she stood up and began on the trail once more. The two little Pokemon scampered after her and into the vicinity of Ample Town.
