Personality:
Zetsumei's kind of a double sided coin, seeing the promise of the light and the dark. Though most claim that the dark is bad, it's really just misunderstood, as far as he's concerned anyway. Most claim the light is good as well, though this isn't always true. You can find good and evil in the light and the darkness, since neither can really exist without the other, and both are just a matter of opinion anyway.

His favorite time of day is sun set, since it marks where the day and the night meet. He doesn't like things that are overly extravagant, such as jewelry or bright clothing. He prefers to stay leaning towards the duller side of things, keeping them plain in most cases. He loves Eevee to death, intending to keep it with him at all times.

He doesn't believe in immediately trusting anyone, feeling he must test any human he meets before even trying to trust them. He can be fairly kind and loving towards those that manage to earn his trust. He doesn't care whether the person is male or female, and won't treat anyone different based on gender. Until proven wrong, everyone is exactly the same as far as he's concerned.

Appearance:

He has slightly tanned skin, though not dark enough that it's really all that noticeable. It's very smooth, giving off a soft glow if seen in the sun light. He prefers to wear silver and black clothing, usually consisting of just a simple plain shirt and pants. I most cases you'll see him in either a silver shirt with slight baggy black pants, or a black shirt with a pair of black pants. He'd consider going full switch, but he doesn't actually have a pair of silver pants.

His shoes are plain black hiking boots. They're strong, water proof, and only a little heavier than normal boots. His socks are fairly plain as well, reaching up to half way to his knee. They are usually one of three colors, black, White, or Gray. His hair is a soft silver color, almost like gray only shinier.

History:
Zetsumei was born 16 years ago, his parents being fairly excited about his arrival. That is, they were for the first few years of his life. He was fairly happy until about the age of 6, at which point his parents just seemed to lose interest. The most they really did was keep food in the house for him, so he wouldn't starve to death. I suppose it's good they at least thought to do that, but it still didn't make him feel very good.

From the ages of 6 to 10 he just kind of vaguely drifted through the house, occasionally taking walks out through the forest. He liked to sit out and watch the pokemon, usually resting out in the middle of the forest to just watch them run through the tree's. his life went on in this way for most of this time, only stopping back at his house when he had to get something to eat or when he needed to sleep. He was scared of the dark, so he had to go back home before it got too late most days.

After he turned 11 he decided to force away his fear of the dark, he did so by deciding to spend the night out in the darkest part of the forest. This went along without much problem until about 2 A.M. At this point, sadly, since he'd just managed to get over his fear, he was attacked by an Ursaring. The Ursaring was apparently trying to protect it's cub, Teddiursa, by attacking anything that was anywhere near where it was walking, including tree's.

Lucky for him, while he was cowering in fear, a Blaziken jumped in between him and the Ursaring. The Ursaring started to make a swipe for the Blaziken, but he wouldn't have it. The Blaziken jumped into the air, his feet seeming to catch flame, as he spin kicked the bear like Pokemon. The Ursaring flew through the air, slamming into a tree, before running off with Teddiursa close behind. After a quick nod from the Blaziken, it was off back into the forest as fast as it had arrived, leaving Zetsumei in shocked awe.

He refrained from going out into the forest itself at night from that point on, but he still liked to sit out in the grass in front of it. Even though it was only the entrance, he could still see quiet a bit. From this point on, he just sat there waiting and watching, hoping that the Blaziken would happen to decide to come visit him, though he knew it wasn't likely. About a month after he turned 13, an Eevee came out of the forest to sit next to him. He was vaguely surprised at first, but when it didn't run away he decided to try to pet it. This didn't work out, however, as the small Pokemon ran back into the forest as soon as he touched it.

Later that night, the Eevee came back out to sit next to him. He decided against petting it for a while, though it eventually let out a loud yawn and fell asleep next to him. He decided to try petting it again, which caused it to start to purr. He was pleased with this, deciding to care for it from now on. The Eevee slept through the next day, only waking up at night for the most part after that. once the Eevee had woken up, he asked it whether or not it'd be okay with him being its trainer, getting a happy nod in response. He decided to name it midnight due to its seeming love of the night time, and to the fact that he was betting it'd evolve into an Umbreon.

A few years later, leading to the current day, he finally decided he was ready to go out on a Pokemon Journey of his own. He packed his bag, got Eevee at his side, and headed for the door. He was stopped by his mother in what looked like a sudden burst of concern, most likely pulled forth from the scene of a son with luggage heading for the door. He told her he was going out to start a journey, where he could live with the pokemon he felt so much better around. She seemed sad at first, but ended up giving him 6 Pokeballs, telling him he'd need them more than she would.

He thanked her and gave her a hug, heading out to smell the fresh air. The first thing he did as a trainer was catch his first pokemon, in other words, he used the first pokemon to capture the Eevee. Eevee allowed it, having already decided to allow itself to be trained by the boy. With that, he headed out towards Route 1.
