Personality: Nat is a laid back person with a slacker like attitude. Nat won't hesitate to help when needed but if things seem to be okay he won't lift a finger. He is a good hearted person and hates to attack unless it seems like it is absolutely necessary. Nat enjoys the simplicity and beauty of nature and loves to be around living things. Because everything there is so "alive" and filled with energy it makes him feel relaxed and energetic. Dead trees and plants make him lose the will to fight. Knowledge is of great importance to him and he loves to read and discover new things. Nat is a kind person who works well with others and hates to be alone. He is also polite, caring and willing to help his friends at the drop of a hat. Nat is kind of strange since he tends to pop up randomly and scare many of the people he meets just for the fun of it. Nat is intelligent and has the patience of a saint and believes everyone is innocent unless they attack. It's rare to see Nat without any kind of smile on his face.
Appearance:
History: Nat grew up in Fuchsia City always admiring the trickery and traps of the gym lead by Koga at the time. He spent lots of time around the gym, so much so his parents had problems with it. Up until he was 5 Nat had spent everyday there but because of his ninja obsession his parents moved to Saffron City where Nat became attracted to the fighting gym. His parents decided to let him join the gym under its leader because they really didn’t want to move again. During his leave from saffron on some errands he visited lavender Town and explored its tower climbing up two floors before hearing wailing and crying. The sound was from a cubone. Nat helped it and protected it from a few other trainers who approached it and afterwards it seemed to follow him around. The Cubone and him entered the gym together and trained for the next 5 years Nat trained in the gym from sun up to sun down or its equivalent for his age. Cubone and Nat hated to be apart and his parents like that Nat's ninja obsession had died down even if only a little bit but they didn't know he was still training hard. Cubone and him trained together and soon enough they were a powerful force in the gym. Cubone had got over it fighting weakness by praticing against them only which allowed it to read there moves better than ever. Nat was soon enough the prankster of the gym because of his use of the ninja arts. Nat snuck around scaring people and eventually came to use those as battle tactics.
Nat heard of a new region known as the Iona region and excitedly headed off towards it. His trusty Cubone not wanting to leave the gym at all she stayed behind while he left. Before he left he was given a gift from his parents as a gift and was told not to open it until he arrived at the new region. He did as he was told and inside of his gift was a pokeball which contained an egg. Nat was about 12 when he received it and it hatched the following month. This began Nat's interest in pokemon breeding and caring. For the next 4 years Nat read in the library and other research facilties learning all he could about pokemon breeding until he arrived at this point now.
